IPSO Congress Program
Conference Program
IPSO Founding Members’ Congress:
Charting the path forward for the global pediatric stroke community
April 24-26, 2022 Vienna, Austria
Congress Mission: To unify the global community of professionals engaged in research and clinical care for children with cerebrovascular diseases, and chart a path forward for multinational, multidisciplinary efforts.
After 2 years’ delay, we will meet to formally launch IPSO at our Founding Members’ Congress in April! Please join to help us shape the priorities and future of our organization. We have planned a highly interactive Congress, making the most of our time together as the Founding Members of IPSO. Over three days in Vienna, Congress attendees will have multiple opportunities to share opinions, network, present research, join committees and working groups, and identify clinical and research collaborators. Congress attendees will provide input through open discussions as well as real-time, interactive electronic surveys.
Speaker Opportunities
We welcome your engagement! While we have already lined up a robust list of international speakers, there are many more opportunities for attendees to speak:
- Day 1: Participate in a session entitled, “Global perspective on pediatric cerebrovascular disease: current state and priorities.” We will invite a diverse group of in-person attendees to share a perspective from their geographic region and specialty. Opportunity for Attendees: Please contact IPSO organizers if you are interested in sharing a perspective! We are especially interested in hearing from those working in resource-limited settings.
- Day 2: Participate in a session on Research Collaborations. This is an opportunity for registrants to share information about their multicenter research collaborations, identify common interests, and invite others to join your effort.
- Days 1 & 3: Present a Research Snapshot or Oral Abstract. Registrants are invited to submit an abstract that describes either a completed project (standard scientific abstract) or a research initiative that is underway or in development. The program committee will select oral abstracts and “research snapshots,” brief presentations of interesting research initiatives.
After you register, reach out to if you are interested in one of these opportunities!
